Hank Burwell music observes the world through a cinematic lens and tells a story.
Hank Burwell is a tribute to his grandfather who could hold a tune and spent his life in the small town of Burwell in central Nebraska. This is the first release of music that we hope you can take with you on whatever journey you are on.
A songwriter with a raw and real voice, Hank Burwell began writing music in his teens and has only now focused on recording and releasing his stories. Combining his visual life as a cinematographer and his passion for music, Hank has assembled songs from an extensive library of road and life experiences and headed into the studio.
Co-produced with Austin musicians, Brian Watkins and Omar Vallejo, also known as the Dirty Chili's, the album Race That Train, was born. While on location, Hank dove into the virtual studio to lay some songs down that he was eager to record. The culmination of those songs are here and consist of the AI outlaw band....
